We operate differently.

At The Inksquad, the community dictates what gets printed and what gets sold. Anyone can design, anyone can vote.

How it begins

You have a design epiphany one day and think that it would look good on a shirt. You create that Idea and you post it up in the Share section for people to comment on. When you feel your design is ready and final, you formally submit your design.

Voting

When your Submission gets accepted, it’s given 14 days on the Score page. Members can vote on as many submissions as they want, but only have one vote per submission. Once you vote, you can no longer change it.
Submissions will be printed if it reaches a point quota.

  • “YES” vote = 1 point
  • “NO” vote = -0.5 points

For example (you might need a calculator if your mind doesn’t have a built-in math component): if there are 10 “yes” votes and 4 “no” votes, the design gets 8 points.

As of 25 October 2009, the point quota is 15. Submissions need at least 15 points to win and get printed. This point quota will change as the community grows.

The Juicy Part

If you’re a crowd pleaser, your Submission gets Inked. When that happens, you get Php3,000.00 as cash prize, plus 5% royalties of total sales, your name on all shirt tags, and unlimited bragging rights. Woohoo!

Design Pack

Make sure you have everything in the Design Pack.

Resubmissions

Before you resubmit, work on your idea further. Consider the inputs by your fellow Inksquad members. For now, there’s no limit on how many times you can resubmit.
